You may require a travel permit to visit the UK for BCI World Hybrid 2026.
Most visitors to the UK, who are not British or Irish citizens, will need either a UK Visa or an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), depending on their nationality and immigration status.
UK Visa
To find out whether you need a visa to visit London, and how to apply, see the UK Visas and Immigration website or check with your local British Embassy or other diplomatic representative before you travel.
- allows you to visit the UK for up to 6 months
- currently costs £135 per applicant
- typically takes 3 weeks to process when submitted from outside the UK
The earliest you can apply for a Standard Visitor visa is 3 months before your planned travel date.
If you are planning to attend BCI World Hybrid 2026 and require a visa, we can provide a conference attendance letter to support your application once you have registered and paid for your ticket. To request this letter, please email us with your registration details.
Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Electronic Travel Authorisation
You may need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to visit London, rather than a visa. You usually need an ETA if you’re from Europe, the USA, Australia, Canada or certain other countries.
An ETA:
- currently costs £20 per applicant
- is valid for two years from the date of purchase
- typically takes 3 working days to process
We recommend checking your ETA or visa requirements before registering for the conference, to ensure you allow enough time to complete any necessary application ahead of the event.
The rules change regularly, so make sure to check if you have the most up-to-date information for your trip.
