What is BCI World Hybrid?

What is BCI World Hybrid?

BCI World Hybrid is the annual BCI global conference that brings together Resilience professionals from around the globe. This two-day conference will have a hybrid format, meaning it will feature a physical event in London, UK, complemented with a Virtual event comprising live-streamed sessions.

If you work or are looking to start your career in the Business Continuity and Resilience industry, then this event is a must-attend. Thanks to a packed conference programme, with a variety of streams, outstanding keynotes, engaging panel discussions, and insightful workshops, BCI World Hybrid is a fantastic opportunity to grow your knowledge, advance your skills, and network with a global audience of professionals.

When and where will it be held?

BCI World Hybrid 2026 will be held on 10th and 11th November, and will comprise both a Physical and Virtual Conference.

  • Physical Conference:  The conference will be held at Convene, Sancroft, St. Paul’s, London, EC4M7DQ, UK. Name badge printing will open at 8:00 AM (GMT) on the 10th and 11th November. The physical conference will start on 10th  November at 9:00AM (GMT) and end on 11th November at 4:25 PM (GMT).
  • Virtual Conference:  The conference live-stream will start on 10th  November at 9:00AM (GMT) and end on 11th  November at 4:25 PM (GMT).

How does the conference work?

We want to make BCI World Hybrid accessible to professionals across the globe. This is why we opted to make the conference hybrid, which means that you can attend in person or virtually through your laptop.

BCI World Hybrid is a two-day event that you can attend in person or virtually.

The Physical Event will take place at Convene, Sancroft, St Pauls,  London, UK, and it will feature:

  • Keynotes and breakout sessions across the two days.
  • A large vendor exhibition.
  • Networking Drinks.
  • BCI Global Awards Ceremony and dinner.

The Virtual Event will comprise of live-streamed keynotes and a selection of breakouts, which will be recorded and available on demand, plus a virtual exhibition and networking stream. This year, the Hybrid event will be held on a new platform, allowing for increased engagement with virtual-only sessions, and an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees.

Physical or Virtual – How should I attend?

The answer to this question is very subjective, it depends on what you want to gain from the conference, your location, your schedule, your budget, and so on… but here is what we recommend.

If you have the possibility to travel to London, UK, attending the Physical conference will provide you with a plethora of great benefits and opportunities including:

  • Attending in-person sessions to engage directly with keynotes, speakers, and panellists.
  • Network with fellow professionals and practitioners to exchange opinions, ideas, and even pain points.
  • Visit the exhibition, meet global vendors and organizations leading the resilience industry.
  • Attend the Networking Drinks and the BCI Global Awards Dinner.
  • On-demand access to all live streamed sessions.

If you don’t have the possibility to travel to London, UK, then the Virtual conference is more suited to your needs. By attending online you will still be able to have a great conference experience:

  • Watch live-streamed keynote and a selection of breakout sessions
  • On-demand access to all live streamed sessions
  • Networking opportunities via our virtual exhibition and two virtual only networking streams
  • New platform for 2026 allowing for increased engagement, and enhanced networking
